Two earthquakes. A country that needs us now.
On June 24, 2026, devastating twin earthquakes struck Venezuela — the largest to hit the country in over 125 years. The impact has been heartbreaking: more than 3,500 lives have been lost, more than 11,000 people have been injured, and countless families have been displaced. Homes, schools, hospitals, and entire communities have been damaged or destroyed.
Among the most vulnerable are babies, newborns, and young children. Many have not only lost their homes, but have been separated from their parents and extended family members. In the weeks and months ahead, these children will need emergency relief, protection, foster care, and long-term help rebuilding their lives.
Our Partner: Fundana
We are partnering with Fundana (Fundación Amigos del Niño Abandonado), a Venezuelan nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable children, women, and families. For more than 30 years, Fundana has worked directly in Venezuela to provide care, family support, nutrition, protection, and foster-family placement for children in need.
Fundana is a recognized UNICEF partner and is uniquely positioned to respond to this emergency through trusted local networks and on-the-ground experience. Every dollar raised through this auction goes directly to their relief efforts.

About the Organizers
The United for Venezuela Silent Auction was organized by a group of Venezuelans in New York who came together after the devastating June 2026 earthquakes. From miles away, we felt compelled to do something meaningful for a country we love.
Inspired by community and driven by love for our homeland, we created this event to turn generosity into direct support for children and families facing unimaginable loss. All proceeds benefit Fundana and their on-the-ground relief efforts in Venezuela.
